Often, GMAT quant section makes the blood run cold for several MBA aspirants. Practice Tricks, Not Learn

GMAT is a time-game; you can’t skip questions if the answer is not known to you. The advantage is that there is no negative mark, the disadvantage is wrong answers may reduce your score graph. To clinch a fist over time, solve the comprehensive questions with tricks. For e.g., To find the square of 114

Step 1 = Deviation is 114–100 = 14

Now, add this deviation with the number, i.e.

114+14 = 128

Step 2 = Find Square of the deviation = 142 = 196

In this case, when the square of the deviation is a three-digit number, you need to add the first digit with 128.

i.e. 128+1 = 129

Hence, 1142=12996

Learn from your Mock test performance

In GMAT preparation, mock tests are an integral part of it. The mock test gives the experience of real time exam experience. It makes the aspirants familiar with the question patterns and enables them to tackle the exam pressure. It assesses your real test preparation.
